1. Medical Advice and Intent. I understand that the adhesive patches provided by Li Duggan Acupuncture Ltd are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advise, diagnosis or treatment and are intended solely for holistic wellness purposes. I acknowledge that these products are not reviewed or approved by medical regulatory bodies. I affirm that if I am pregnant, nursing, taking prescription medications, or under active medical supervision for any respiratory, serious illness or neurological condition, I will have consulted a qualified healthcare professional prior to using this product.

Explicit Assumption of Skin Sensitivity & Allergy Risks

2. Assumption of Risk for Dermatological Reactions. I acknowledge that Chinese herbal patches are highly concentrated and can cause sudden skin sensitivity, contact dermatitis, redness, blistering, or localized allergic reactions. I will read the ingredients on the box provided and ensure that I am not allergic to them. I also assume full responsibility to perform a small skin patch test as recommended by Li Duggan Acupuncture Ltd prior to use. I voluntarily assume all physical risks associated with the application of adhesives and Chinese herbal patches directly to my skin or clothing.

Proper Application & Misuse Clause

3. Safe Usage Compliance. I agree to strictly follow the printed and digital instructions provided with the patches and to have viewed the digital ‘how to’ videos at li dugganacupuncture.ie.

I am fully aware that patches have a strong adhesive and must be removed with care. Placing patches on parts of the body with hair will most likely result in hair removal from the area the patch is placed on.

I explicitly agree that I will not:

• Apply the patch to broken skin, sunburnt, or open wounds.
• Ingest the patch or any herbs contained within it.
• Apply the patch directly to sensitive mucosal areas or near the eyes.
• Expose the patch site to direct intense UV sunlight.
• Allow children or pets access to the patches.
• Continue to use the product if I have had any adverse reaction to it.

 Liability

4. Release. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I agree to all the terms and conditions of use outlined above by Li Duggan Acupuncture Ltd, its officers, employees and suppliers. I agree that Li Duggan Acupuncture Ltd and its suppliers are not responsible for any loss, injury or harm resulting from misuse of products or failure to follow the terms and conditions outlined above. I agree to follow the instructions provided with the products.
